Rural Sales Consultant Regina Christey relishes the 30 years she has spent in rural Canterbury – a background that has equipped her well for her move into a specialist sales role at Harcourts Four Seasons Hoon Hay. Regina sells citywide and also specializes in rural and residential properties in the Selwyn district, the “local patch” in which she and her husband John have raised their four children and contributed so strongly for most of their lives. Being a person with a strong community spirit she has performed many public roles within her wider community. A sales and marketing background working in the Tourism Industry for a major travel company has also helped her realize her long held ambition of working in the property sector. Along the way she has sharpened her skills for interior design and gardening – practical knowledge that enables her to provide worthwhile advice on property presentation. She understands the values and issues that hold rural communities together and can apply this knowledge for the benefit of her clients. Good conversation skills and a strong sense of empathy are also part of the makeup of this “people person”.
